Driving lessons and road tests will now resume during Phase 3.
D.M.V: "All customers, and the driver you bring to the road test, are required to wear masks and maintain 6 feet from other customers and staff whenever possible. Face coverings include cloth (e.g. homemade sewn, quick cut, bandanna), surgical masks, N-95 respirators, or face shields. To maintain proper social distancing protocols, customers should...". C.D.C:"For hard non-porous surfaces within the interior of the vehicle such as hard seats, arm rests, door handles, seat belt buckles, light and air controls, doors and windows, and grab handles, clean with detergent or soap and water if the surfaces are visibly dirty, prior to disinfectant application." Here's What We Are Doing:
Here are the precautions we are taking:
Gloves and approved face coverings are mandatory for driving lessons and road tests. Approved face coverings include: homemade sewn, bandanas, surgical masks, N- 95 respirators and face shields.
Temperatures will be taken before any lessons and road tests.
Hand sanitizer must be used at the start of all lessons and office visits.
The school office and cars will be disinfected with CDC approved cleaning products including UV light treatment.
The contact areas of the student car (steering wheel, doors, door handles, gear shift, mirrors, etc) will be cleaned and disinfected before each lesson and road test.
